LA GARDIENNE DE LA 9e PORTE: Carcassonne historique.
Carcassonne, historique Carcassonne_Saint_Nazaire__2_La région carcassonnaise, vers 3 500 avant notre ère, comprenait des habitats néolithiques. Le site de Carcassonne lui-même fut habité depuis fort longtemps. Les restes d'un oppidum (oppidum Carcaso) sur le plateau font remonter au VIème siècle, voire au VIII avant notre ère les premiers signes d'un habitat humain.
